7.30pm- 9.15pm Gilesgate Sports College An evening of stories, DVD's and performances, from local young people about how they impacted thier community positively in 2008, from volunteers about our schools work and detached project and from our centre director about future work in the County. Peace of Toast??!! No that's not a typo! St Nics Church in Durham city centre hosts the 4th TOAST cafe! Re-located to Feb half term, the youth cafe is open 7pm-10pm each night. Exchange the cold for youth bands, interactive games and tournaments, a toastie bar, artsy stuff and even more!

Caroling and Ceidlih

Our final Hope 08 event is a two for one!! 5.45pm meet Antioch House to gather and grab carol sheets before heading up to entertain the residents at St Margarets Nursing Home between 6pm and 7pm. Then head on down to the Town Hall for a Christmas Ceidlih 7.30pm-9.30pm (£2 on door)! Bring all your friends!

ECO Festival

Neville’s Cross Community Festival This event is part of the church’s Hope 08 outreach into the community. The theme is justice, social action and the environment. There will be live music during the day outside under a marquee, mainstream and jazz music. Check out the different zones of justice, children’s, environment, fairtrade. The event runs all day from 11am till 5pm at St Johns, Nevilles Cross.
